The IJCLab is an « unité mixte » of the Université de Paris-Sud and the CNRS. It was created in 2020 from a merge of 5 laboratories CSNSM, IMNC, IPNO, LAL and LPT.
The CNRS acts via a dedicated institute called Institut national de physique nucléaire et physique des particules (IN2P3). Major decisions or recommendations are made about :
